Had a number of BMW GSAs and a the new triumph tiger, also had the KTM super duke GT. And I have to say the v4s is the best the bike I’ve owned to date and I no want or need to change it. It does everything the other bikes did but better! The handling and power is amazing, what is great is you can also get the lowering kit installed for those shorter people lol So will fit like a glove if needed, the only negative is the 22l fuel tank but mainly as I’m used to a 30l tank. On a range I’m getting between 42-44mpg but you are looking at best around 200 miles on a tank but more around 170 when blasting around the hills in Wales. Expensive not really look at the price of the GS, and with the new GSA expected to be more. Mate of mine has the rally and that bring over benefits! Totally recommend the bike! 👍

Ay up Bruce, I know I'm a couple of years out... I've got the 21 v4 multistrada which I piled on 37000 miles over 13 months. Why should I upgrade to the new model. Always carry two spanners and the axle nut with me for chain adjustment when touring as you always find some garage willing to help

Got the Rally full. 1000 miles in bit of buffeting to sort out 6ft1" First service 621 miles £266 a little warm on the right leg. no other complaints had 2 gsa's and multi enduro 1200. This is way more fun than the gs's but it's all deceptive.

Hi, gone from 1250 GSA to a Rally Trav &Rader this Christmas. Just got back from quick 6 day trip to Alps, bike was faultless and never did i think i wish i was on something more sporty. Since new, only issue was a broken top box lock which was sorted by dealer. 1st service was £300! (GSA £100). Lacks the low down grunt of the GSA so you do find dropping a cog but gearbox like butter so no chore. Only issue is with the integrated satnav app which freezes and causes phone to overheat.

I have owned a Multistrada V4S Full since September 2021 and have covered 10000 miles. Pro’s: A hoot to ride, great engine, handling, comfort, build quality yes I said build quality! (owned by Audi), 4 year warranty, Nil defects so far. Cons: Chain drive so on tour take tools (10mm & 12mm opened spanner, 4mm Allen key, 36mm bi-hex socket plus torque wrench as rear wheel nut is 185 Nm) and chain lube. 263Kgs and 170 hp wears rear tyres (4000miles on a Metz Roadtec 01 SE)now on Mich Road 6 front and rear so see how I get on. Dealer support excellent (Ducat Glasgow and Ducati Dundee). Bike is dealer serviced not cheap (same as BMW) but thorough, dealer alway consult you if additional work is required. Bike is 100% reliable. I luv this bike.

Owned mine 2 years done about 12k cant fault the bike or Ducati dealers. People complain about the tank range but touring around legal limits it will do about 50mpg. I dropped it on my drive and was expecting some serious damage but found just a few scratches these bikes are tough.

Had a 21 v4s , now have a 24 rally. Found customer service pretty good. 4 year warranty and no major servicing until 60k kms is attractive. Fuel consumption not too bad at 45 to 54 mpg in normal use.. bigger size of the rally suits me. Looked at the gs1300 nice bike , a bit small and ordinary looking i thought. Prefer the v4 to the boxer twin engine. The electronics are good and reliable. Dont like keyless go and the GPS sygic system is a bits pants, i use a beeline. Comfort ok no heat issues. They are very expensive but same money as gs 1300 with all the bits fitted!

Hi Bruce, hope you’re well mate, not my experience but was with a friend last year. Had a problem with his Ducati. We took it to Ducati Grenoble and I’ve never seen customer service like it, turned out it was some sort of wheel sensor that monitors ABS traction control your speed etc etc but it killed all of his electrics. We then watched them wheel out some sort of Panigala V4S we thought it was going to a customer then we realised they were taking the sensor off of it to put on his bike They even cleaned the bloody thing once they fixed it‼️

I’ve owned a V4S full 2022 from new. My dealer has been brilliant, software has been updated regularly and even had the bike cleaned by Ducati Jersey when I popped in to the dealership. They without my knowledge checked my VIN , got authorisation from Ducati UK as there was a very recent update and did it. It’s now covered 8,300 miles in 30 months and never missed a beat. I’ve toured Europe 3 times and popped in to a dealer every trip. FOC they’ve checked the chain tension and welcomed me with a free coffee and biscuits or a cold drink. I don’t need to change it as the software updates have made it exactly as the 2024 models. Whether it’s the B500 or autoroute the bike is brilliant. The 4 year warranty is superb. 2 up or 1 the bike is the best bike I’ve ever owned and if I ever wanted to change it I wouldn’t hesitate in buying another. I sold my Rocket 111 GT as both myself and my pillion hated it for touring and never a moments regret. It is exactly what the name translates “ Many roads”. Well done Ducati 🍾

Hi teapot one I’m a proud own of a 2024, Multistrada V4 Rally is one of the best motorcycles I have ever owned The after-care and customer service I’ve been getting from my local Ducati dealer is 2nd to none! four year manufacturers warranty and servicing intervals every 24 months The good points are the fuel tank, range and the comfortable seating position the performance and handling on the road is great for a bike that looks so tall never mind how good it looks when you open the garage door If you do struggle with your inside leg measurement there are two slots so you can lower the OEM seat and you can even buy a low seat option Don’t get me wrong, it’s not perfect but there is no such thing as a perfect motorcycle The cons in my opinion, and it is nitpicking. I’m not a fan of the keyless ignition as you still need the key to open the fuel cap there is no boot space underneath the pillion seat and the sound you get from the V4 engine Who knows you might even change your allegiance from BMW. 🤣🤣 Regards Martin

I recently bought 2024 V4 Grand Tour. 1. My dealer is Millsport/Ducat Antrim I have dealt with these guys for 10 years and have had excellent customer service. 2. I absolutely love the bike, but i do miss the twins lumpy thump.3. Fuel consumption, I knew going into the deal that it was a thirsty bike so not to bothered that way , Im getting 180 miles before light comes on with 35 miles to go,I have taken it to -5 and have still had roughly 4 litres in the tank.4 Very comfortable biggest day so far has been 370 miles no problems.5. At the minute my biggest dislike is it throws up rain and standing water all around the my back and back of my legs, the bike and myself end up filthy in the smallest shower. I have just ordered hugger extension hopefully this will help. So far thats it. I've 3500 miles up. Simon Weir has planned me a big trip to Spain in September so hoping to know more about it by then. Phil

Ridden the V4 and its shit compared to the L twin, simple . Otherwise I enjoyed riding the bike . The twin KTM & BMW twins have it all over it in the engine compartment. I love Ducatis, had 8 L twins and the best twin out there. Re servicing, in Australia post November’22, all BMW’s come with a 5 year warranty and fixed service price for 3 or 5years. Own a V2S at the moment after three GSs, so I’m looking forward to the video as the GT would be my next choice. My experience of Ducati has been very positive, the ‘baby’ Multi is a hoot to ride and the dealer back up has been excellent. Since Audi bought Ducati they seemingly are a lot more reliable and they are increasing their dealer network in the UK due to increased sales despite their cost. I’ve not found their servicing costs any more expensive than BMW.

GS Owner here…would always consider chain maintenance on tour…the axle nut torque is HUGE on Mutistradas, so I think it worth considering the weight in tools required on board just to do chain adjustment. Breaker bar, impact socket, torque wrench, spanners. Axle nut torque is around 180Nm so no way will a bog standard socket & ratchet give the average person enough leverage to loosen it. I had an MT-10 (160Nm) and had to buy the breaker bar just to loosen the axle nut plus a sturdy (therefore heavy) torque wrench rated with enough force to tighten it.

Kawasaki had (and has reintroduced) eccentric adjusters on their swing arms and chain adjustment was a breeze….one Allen key and you were done. Manufacturer’s toolkit was all that was needed. If you like I’ll weigh and photograph what is required for an MT-10 or Mutistrada :-)

I think the Multistrada V4S was slated for having terrible fuel economy, but the Rally has addressed this. I think this was done by increasing the tank capacity and shutting down some cylinders when not underload. For me it's less about the economy and more about the range. Sorry, this is a very long winded way of asking, what miles are you getting from a full tank?

Own a 2022 V4S Full for a year now. Sadly my local Ducati dealer is closing but in the year of owning it so far it has been faultless and haven’t had to use them other than 2 software updates that was pushed out. The bike itself yes is expensive but what an allrounder it is. It goes from spirited ride with mates to comfy touring and then even off road. My only thing is I wished I had got the Rally for the bigger tank as touring you need to be finding fuel at around 150-170mile mark
